Blue Lagoon is one of the most incredible adventures you can do (for free!) in this area. The marine life is out of this world; boasting beautiful coral, fish, reef sharks, etc.

First; check the tides - it needs to be high enough for you to paddle over the reef (see satellite image screenshot for reference of Lagoon location).

Bring snorkels, underwater camera gear, fins and a surfboard (the bigger surfboard, the better).

Park at the carpark north of Sal Salis and, with all of your gear, walk along the beach all the way past Sal Salis to the beach in front of the pin drop location.

Then, with your snorkel gear on - paddle to the pin drop (you'll see the blue water as you approach it, it's a deep sand section amongst the reef)!

The paddle was about 300m out (it's very shallow, so it's not scary) - but it will take some time, so plan your day and tides accordingly.

Enjoy!!
