I LOVED IT HERE!

Long Beach in Robe is quite a hot spot, but for good reason You can drive right onto the beach, even if you’ve only got a 2WD. The sand is super hard-packed, making it pretty cruisey to navigate, but just a heads-up: I did manage to get bogged at one point, so take it easy and stick to the firmer sections.

This spot is stunning at sunset, with the whole beach glowing golden as the sun dips over the ocean. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’ve got all the space in the world to kick back and take it in. You can pull up, set up a picnic, or just chill.

It’s also pet-friendly, so if you’ve got a furry mate along for the ride, they’ll love tearing around on the sand or splashing in the shallows.

Stealth camping is apparently quite strict in Robe, so ask some other travellers if they have any tips!
