Kilcarnup Beach near Margaret River is one of those hidden gems that’s perfect for a day of relaxing away from the crowds. You’ll need a 4WD to get in, but the drive is half the fun! Shouldn't need to drop your tyre pressure, but see how you go!

You’ll cruise through some stunning trees and soft sand before it opens up onto the rocks and you can make your way down to the beach. It’s pretty scenic, and the vibe is super chill.

It’s a great spot to park up on the beach, chill with your mates, or just take in the view. If you're keen for a surf, there’s occasionally a small wave, but honestly, it’s more about enjoying the serenity and escaping the busy beaches.

Definitely pack some snacks, a good book. Also, if you’re bringing your furry mate along, good news – Kilcarnup is pet-friendly :)
