A discontinued caravan park where you're now allowed to stay for FREE! Located right next to the river and nestled amongst the forest, this is my go-to spot to stay when travelling along the coast between NSW and VIC. There's also an amenities block with private showers and toilets.

Cann River Rainforest Caravan Park, located in East Gippsland, Victoria, offers travellers a convenient and free camping option. Situated along the Princes Highway, this campground allows stays of up to 48 hours and provides basic amenities, including toilets and cold-water showers. While there are no powered sites, campers can access clean water, and pets are welcome on a lead or contained. The park's proximity to the Cann River and nearby rainforest walking tracks enhances its appeal, offering a serene environment for short-term visitors.
