Fishery Bay is famous for a reason—it’s absolutely stunning! In fact, according to a new ranking from Tourism Australia, it’s been named the sixth best beach in the country—and honestly, once you see it, you’ll get why. The whole coastline here is next level, with blindingly white sand and that insane turquoise water that looks almost unreal. The colours are out of this world, especially at sunrise and sunset when the wind dies down and the place feels extra magical.

If you’re up for a bit of exploring, there are heaps of hidden gems nearby—think secret rock pools, untouched white-sand beaches, and some of the most incredible coastal views you’ll find in SA. It’s not a patrolled beach, so just be mindful of the conditions if you’re swimming.

There’s also a campsite nearby, so if you’re keen to wake up to these views, you can! It’s the perfect spot for an overnight stay, especially if you’re road-tripping the Eyre Peninsula. Definitely bring a camera, and if you’ve got a drone—this is the place to use it! Not sure if it’s pet-friendly, so probably best to check before bringing your furry mate along.
