The 7 Lakes Route is one of (if not the) most popular day trips from Bariloche, Villa La Angostura, and San Martin de los Andes.
It is best enjoyed with your own rental car, so check rates and availability here. Yes, there are guided tours but those are with large groups and your stops are very limited and short. Trust me on this, drive yourself.
