If you're looking for a place that isn't too challenging and is easily accessible, this is the one.

Lake Arnisee (1368m) is located in the Canton of Uri. The cable car takes you directly to the lake. Arnisee has crystal-clear waters and stunning mountain reflections. You can enjoy swimming, walking around the lake, and exploring the surrounding hiking trails.

🚡There are two ways to get there. One is from Amsteg, but then you have to walk to the lake for 20 minutes. The second one, which we did, is from Intschi, which is directly by the lake. It costs 16 CHF per person for a return trip.

🥾Walk around the lake; it's very easy and doesn't take long.

Then, make sure to take a detour to a viewpoint called Chänzeli. It only takes a couple of minutes to reach this viewpoint.

☕️There's a place called Berggasthaus Alpenblick near the cable car where you can eat, enjoy a beer, or have coffee. I highly recommend taking a break there.

You can also swim there, but be prepared for chilly water temperatures even on hot days.
