You can reach this beautiful lake by car as well as by bus from Meiringen. Keep in mind that to get here by car, you have to pay for the private road. You'll see a signpost where you need to stop and pay. Also note that the road is a typical mountain road—narrow.

Park your car at the Hotel Engstlenalp. Then it's a short walk to get to the lake. You can also swim in the lake, it's quite refreshing.
